What are the check-in and check-out times?
Our guaranteed check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is prior to 11:00 am. We are happy to receive your request for an early arrival or late departure (fees may apply). Early arrivals and late departures are not guaranteed. Guest MUST BE 18 years or older to check in, with valid photo identification (I.D.).
What are your payment and cancellation policies?
Most of our reservations come with our flexible 72 hour cancellation policy (72 hours prior guaranteed check in time, 4.00pm). This means that your credit card will only be charged should you cancel within 3 days of your reservation’s arrival date. If you do not show up for your reservation, your reservation will be also classed as a “cancelled” reservation under our “no show” policy. If you choose our discounted advanced purchase rate your credit card will be charged the full amount to reserve. The advanced purchase rate is also non-refundable should you cancel your reservation. If you do not show up for your reservation, your reservation will be also classed as a “cancelled” reservation under our “no show” policy.
Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?
All reservations require a valid credit card to reserve. Debit cards are not accepted.
What is a credit card pre-authorization?
At check in, all reservations will require a valid credit card for a pre-authorization (hold). The pre-authorization (hold) on the credit card will cover the full room and tax, plus the daily damage deposit of $50 per night. Payment for your hotel room will be charged on check-out. If your reservation is pre-paid, a pre-authorization will still be required to cover the daily damage deposit of $50 per night.
Is a damage deposit required during my stay?
All reservations require a daily damage deposit of $50 per night. This will be held on your credit card at check-in and released once our housekeeping department checks the room on your departure date.
Is the Lake Louise Inn pet-friendly?
Dog Friendly rooms are available upon request. Available for all rooms types excluding our Deluxe One King.
Our pet fee is $20 per night, plus tax which is capped at $60 plus tax for guests who are staying longer than 3 nights.
The Lake Louise Inn accepts dogs only. Unfortunately all other animals and pets are not allowed in our guest rooms.
When making a reservation online, please place a note in the comment section if you are bringing your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, on our legends patio or in our swimming pool and fitness facility. They are however, allowed in our main lobby.
Is parking available at Lake Louise Inn?
Complimentary parking is available at the Lake Louise Inn. All of our parking spaces are located outdoors. Some of our parking spaces offer extension cords and outlets for car plugins/block heaters. We do not offer electric car charging stations, however, there are four Tesla charging stations available behind the local Shell gas station.
What is the resort fee and what does it include?
Our daily resort fee is included in all reservations. The resort fee helps us maintain and upgrade all guest amenities offered at the Lake Louise Inn, including but not limited to:

Due to our location there is no pharmacy located in the village of Lake Louise, however, some sundries are available in our lobby market, at the local Village Market, the Lake Louise Medical Clinic or at Petro Canada.
