Frequently Asked Questions
Can the hotel accommodate special requests?
The Lake Louise Inn is happy to take requests for floor level and room locations, however, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. For high floor requests please be advised, only 2 out of 5 of our buildings have elevator access. If you have a request to be close to a family member or a friend, there may be a chance you are placed in a different building as our room types are spread out over five buildings.

The Lake Louise Inn offers a wide range of guestrooms and suites to suit any style and budget for your Rocky Mountain getaway. All rates are based on double adult occupancy. Additional adults will incur a $20 per night fee. Children under 17 are exempt.

Cribs/Playpens for infants are available upon request. Additional beds such as roll-away beds/cots, are not available at the Lake Louise Inn.
How often is Housekeeping Service provided?
Our housekeeping team is proud to provide daily tidy-up service. Full stayover service will be provided after the fourth night.
Are feather pillows and duvets available in guest rooms?
The Lake Louise Inn does not provide feather pillows and duvets due to allergies they can cause.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: Begins at 4:00 PM.
Check-out: Required by 11:00 AM.
Requests for early arrival or late departure are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed; additional fees may apply. Please note that guests must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid photo ID at the time of check-in."
What are your payment and cancellation policies?
Standard Reservations: Our flexible policy allows you to cancel up to 72 hours before your scheduled check-in (4:00 PM). If you cancel within this 72-hour window, or if you do not arrive for your stay ("No-Show), your credit card will be charged.
Advanced Purchase Rates: These discounted rates require full payment at the time of booking. These bookings are non-refundable. Failure to arrive for your stay will result in the forfeiture of the full booking amount."
Do I Need a Credit Card to Make a Reservation?
A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations. Please note that we are unable to accept debit cards.
What Is a Credit Card Pre-Authorization?
To ensure a smooth check-in, all guests must present a valid credit card for a pre-authorization hold. This hold covers your room and tax, as well as a $50 per night damage deposit. If you have already paid for your room in advance, we will only place a hold on your card for the $50 per night security deposit. For all other reservations, the total balance for your room and tax will be charged upon check-out.
Is a Damage Deposit Required During My Stay?
A damage deposit of $50 per nightstrong> is required for all reservations. This amount will be held as a pre-authorization on your credit card at check-in. The hold will be released following a standard inspection of your room by our housekeeping team on your day of departure.
